• • How do I purchase a Guest Pass?

    A Guest Pass can be purchased for $100 with any Spark adult membership. The Guest Pass includes admission only and can be used by anyone accompanying the Spark member. Guest Passes can be purchased at the front admissions desk or through the call center at 403.817.6800.

  • Are all exhibits and events included in Membership?

    No, some exhibits (such as Birdly), and some events are offered at a discounted rate or have a paid ticket option.

    As the fourth wave rises, this remains great advice.

    Thank you, Spark Members, for your ongoing commitment to science and safety. Spark will continue to offer a safe environment for all guests using all of the tools that science has devised.

    Getting vaccinated, wearing masks and washing your hands often all help. The new mandatory vaccination policies that came into effect on September 20 will allow Spark to operate safely, as per usual.

    Did you know that Spark has a state-of-the-art ventilation system that completely turns over the entire volume of air inside the science centre with 100% fresh air every 1.69 hours. Hats off to engineers too!

    Proof of vaccination will be required upon every Member visit, for those 12 years old or older, for full information for proof of vaccination required visit link.

    Members who cannot provide proof of vaccination, or have a negative privately-paid NCR or rapid test within 72 hours, will not be allowed to enter the science centre.

    Members who wish to request an exemption from this policy based on medical or human rights issues, must submit an e-mail detailing the reasons for the exemption request to [email protected], please do not submit any personal information or medical records at this time. Someone will respond within 3 business days to your request.

    Each request for exemption will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, with the requirement to provide appropriate documentation where necessary, to determine whether an exemption applies.

    Those with guest passes will also be required to show proof of vaccination, if over the age of 12.

    Members may host children (“Child Guests”) not yet eligible for vaccination as guests. Child Guests shall have access to Spark only if accompanied by a parent/guardian who has provided proof of being fully vaccinated as per the Mandatory Vaccine Policy above.
