Impossible Geometries: A Digital Art Exhibit | TELUS Spark

IMPOSSIBLE GEOMETRIES

Where Doodles Become Dimensions

Step into a world where circles have ideas and lines misbehave. Impossible Geometries is a brand-new digital immersion experience where art and math collide, overlap, and get a little weird, in the best way!

Across six looping worlds, wander through Lines, Circles, Shapes, Transformation, Colour and Rhythm. Watch handmade stop-motion drawings leap off the notebook page and explode into floor-to-ceiling projections, an original soundtrack, and floors that react to every step you take.

There's no beginning, no end, and no wrong way to explore. Just walk in, look up, look down, and start noticing the math hiding in the art all around you.

Suitable for visitors of all ages. Designed with curious kids ages 6-12 in mind.

THE EXPERIENCE

Handmade, Frame by Frame

No shortcuts. Just real hands, paper, plasticine and paint. Every desk scene is drawn, built and animated one frame at a time by artists in Calgary and Bogotá.

Immersive Interactive Artwork

Six worlds. Ten shifting environments. Motion-tracking floors that respond to you as you move, meaning no two visits ever look quite the same!

A Calgary-Created, Kindergarten-to-Grade-7 Adventure

Built by Calgary studio AZMA, informed by K–7 math learning, and made to spark curiosity. Don’t worry, there’s no test at the end!
