Beakerhead 2024 is coming! September 20 - 22, 2024!

TELUS Spark presents Beakerhead! It is back and will be better than ever! Keep your eyes on our socials for more information!

Beakerhead was founded in 2013 with the belief that making science and engineering accessible through art and entertainment, would lead to unprecedented human ingenuity, and boy has it!

In April 2022, TELUS Spark Science Centre merged with Beakerhead and joined forces to engage and inspire more people and communities with science and technology. With Beakerhead and Spark working together, the future of science in communities across Calgary looks brighter than ever before!

Over the years, Beakerhead has facilitated more than 542,000 in-person encounters with STEAM and is home for programs Hack The House, Operation Minerva and Prototype Project!

This magic wouldn't be possible without the help from over 665 local partners, 35,000 volunteer hours, and 1,442 collaborating presenters.
