  • Astronaut Ice Cream. Astronaut Ice Cream features nine different kinds of cones (yes, Pluto is included, though it has officially lost is status as a planet!). Astronaut Ice Cream is a café serving high-quality Monogram specialty coffees and snacks. Dig into the menu!
  • Birdly, now boarding. Introducing Spark's first official VR experience. Get virtually transformed into a member the pterosaur family, soar through the age of the dinosaurs and and take science to new heights! Learn more.

FREE Wi-Fi - #TELUS

  • Select the #TELUS network name from the device’s Wi-Fi settings menu.
  • Open a new browser tab and you will be automatically redirected to the TELUS Wi-Fi registration page.
  • Enter name and email address, and agree to the TELUS Wi-Fi Service Terms

TELUS will send a confirmation email to the address provided and give 10 minutes of Internet access. Open the email on the same device and confirm the address by clicking the link in the message.

Once registered, guests can connect seamlessly to the Internet for 30 days. After 30 days, it will need to register again.

The #TELUS Wi-Fi network is open to TELUS and non-TELUS customers.

Spark has tools available to support guests with varying needs. Sensory backpacks can be signed out for free, wheelchairs, strollers, quiet rooms, headsets for dome shows and more.

Memberships start at $55 and pays for itself in less than 3 visits.

Parking at Spark is managed by Calgary Parking Authority through ParkPlus. If paying by mobile, enter Zone 8310 or use one of the pay machines located near the front doors, to pay online with ParkPlus click here.

PUBLIC TRANSIT/BIKING

If travelling by public transit, take the LRT to the Zoo Station, exit the Zoo pedestrian tunnel to the right (north). Walking time to Spark from the Zoo is approximately 10-15 minutes. Spark is conveniently located near Calgary's bike path system.
