Don't have a ruff summer...keep it cool at Spark! Learn the science and history behind the "dog days".
To the ancient Greeks and Romans, this occurred when star Sirius appeared to rise alongside the sun in late July. They believed the heat from the two stars combined is what made these days the hottest of the year.
Beat the dog-gone heat during the hottest days of the year by checking out all the super cool dog themed activities at Spark. Daily programming includes performances from Super Dogs, delicious hot-dog food trucks, an adult-only evening centered around the "Games People Play," out-of-this-world ice cream, adorable new items in the Spark Store, talks about the science of K9's and so much more!
Don't have a cruel summer, have a cool summer by eating and drinking your way through the new seasonal menu. The summers special ice cream, the James Webb, is vanilla soft serve ice cream poured into a waffle cone, a yellow sugar cookie topper, honeycomb crumble, pink sugar sprinkle and three chocolate Pocky sticks. Named after the James Webb Space Telescope, the most powerful telescope ever launched into space!
