SCIENCE CENTRE 101

The Spark Social Contract

Preparing for an inspiring experience at Spark

TELUS Spark Science Centre is committed to ensuring that all science centre experiences and spaces are safe and welcoming to all. By booking with Spark, you are agreeing to the following:

  • All participants in Spark programming must respect all science centre staff, volunteers and other guests, as well as all Spark exhibits and equipment.
  • Damage of any kind, or disrespectful or hateful language or behaviour, will not be tolerated and may result in a group being asked to leave or students not being permitted to participate (with no refund refund).
  • Teachers and chaperones are responsible for the conduct of their students (and themselves) in all indoor and outdoor spaces at the science centre – from classrooms to labs, exhibits, eating spaces, bathrooms, parks and other common spaces.

Please review this contract with your students and chaperones before arriving at Spark.
