From May 14 to 31, spring is sprouting up like flowers at Spark with un-bee-lievable activities. In May visit the science centre for activities, workshops and talks about the science behind pollination. What is the secret that makes plants and flowers grow? The simple answer is, the Power of Pollinators like bees and butterflies.
Got a green thumb? Well, plant it in Spark’s Inspiration Stage and learn from industry experts about plants and pollination. Grab your best soil-mates and dig into a seed starter workshop. Get creative in the Creative Kids Museum and craft your own pollinator.
All talks, workshops and activities are included in General Admission or with a Spark Membership.
Head to Open Studio Workshop and plant a seed to take home to attract pollinators. Guests get to plant either Black-Eyed-Susan or Smooth Aster – both bloom at different times during the summer and are favourites of various pollinators.
