Step into the world of Tyrannosaurus rex during a special evening presentation with Dr. Emily Bamforth. Drawing on fossil evidence and current palaeontological research, Dr. Bamforth will explore what scientists are learning about T. rex and the ancient ecosystems in which these remarkable dinosaurs lived.
This adult-focused evening offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from a Canadian palaeontologist, explore the science behind one of the world’s most famous dinosaurs, and experience SUE: The T. rex Experience after hours.
Dr. Emily Bamforth is the Curator of the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum near Grande Prairie, Alberta, and an adjunct professor at the Universities of Alberta and Saskatchewan. She studies Cretaceous dinosaur ecosystems in northern Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Dr. Bamforth spent eight years working as a paleontologist at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum’s T. rex Discovery Centre in Eastend, SK, working cheek-by-jowl with ‘Scotty’, the World’s Largest T. rex.
