Ever wonder what happens at Spark, after dark? This adult-only event series is filled with evenings of science-tastic programming! Spark After Dark is here with the food, the drinks, the ice cream, the music, and of course, the science!

What can you expect from an 18+ night at the science centre?

The entire science centre is open late for an adults-only evening of fun!
Enjoy full bar service and sip on specialty-themed cocktails.
Indulge with delicious snacks and treats provided by the Spark Eatery and Astronaut Ice Cream Café.
Try the famous Astronaut Ice Cream - 10 flavours in total - there's no better time than the present!
Catch a show in the Infinity Dome theatre.

Spark Members receive all kinds of perks like free parking as well as: a 15% special discount at the Spark Eatery, Astronaut Ice Cream and the Spark Store on Spark After Dark evenings! - What is the new policy for Spark After Dark (18+) tickets for Spark Members?
  Effective June 1, 2024, Spark Members can purchase Spark After Dark (18+) tickets at a special discounted rate of $10.00 +GST per ticket.
- Why is there a change in the Spark After Dark (18+) ticket policy?
  Spark After Dark (18+) events are an elevated, special experience offered to adult guests. These exclusive events are full of programming, amazing food and beverages, speakers and so much more.The adjustment in the ticket policy, effective June 1, 2024, is to uphold the excellence and quality of these premium adults-only events.
- How is this being communicated to Members?
  The new policy will be communicated during the process of purchasing new Memberships, whether in person, online, or over the phone through our Customer Care Centre. It will also be shared via the Spark Members’ email newsletter, on social media and the Spark website.
- Can existing Members take advantage of the current Spark After Dark (18+) ticket pricing before this new policy goes into effect?
  Members will have the opportunity to reserve tickets at the existing price ($0) until the policy adjustment takes effect on June 1, 2024 for Spark After Dark (18+) events. If Members have already secured tickets for upcoming Spark After Dark (18+) events, they will not face any additional charges.
- Do all Memberships qualify for this special ticket price?
  Yes, the special offer of $10.00 +GST per ticket applies to all Members, including existing ones. Please note that Spark After Dark events are 18+, valid photo IDis required to attend.
- How often will Members be reminded of this change?
  Regular reminders will be included in Membership communications, newsletters, and on the Spark website to ensure Members are well-informed.
