Here are just a few upcoming examples of our daily events:
On Fire!
During this demostration, we will explore the colourful science of fireworks. Get up close and personal with bubbles of fire. Experience a reaction hot enough to melt steel. Find the fire in everyday flour. Learn how making water can be an explosive experience.
Light up your imagination as you discover just how spectacular chemistry can be!
Temperature Adventures
Put a giant balloon to a fiery test. Touch a super-cold ‘cryogenic’ liquid. Use a thermal camera to see the heat human bodies release. Discover an insulator so effective, it's used on spacecrafts. Launch a rocket to see how a little fuel can go a long, long way.
Join us in taking temperatures to the extreme. Science has never been so cool...or so hot!
Here's Looking at You
There's a lot of science going on inside us. Prepare to find out as we use slow motion to see how stretchy we can be. Come face-to-face with the world's biggest freckle. Compare your strength to the strongest of the strong. Hear a huge heartbeat. Have a hands-on experience with the digestive system.

On Target
Participate in a variety of activities to test your accuracy, collaboration and problem solving skills in large-scale spectacles hosted in the Atrium!
Objects will fly high, air will whizz past, and people will travel as they never have before. Think human hovercrafts, sling shots, air cannons and large wrecking balls.
